About this tool: A Job Hazard Analysis or Risk Assessment is a systematic process for identifying hazards, assessing risks, and determining control measures before commencing a work task. It is required under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.

If you did not select a category (or selected Custom / Other Task): Type a clear description of the job or task you want to assess. The more detail you provide, the more accurate and useful your JHA will be.
Tip: Include the type of work, specific equipment or tools, work location on site, number of workers, nearby hazards, and any time pressures or constraints. Example: "Installing roof sheeting on a residential dwelling using a scaffold platform at 4.5m height, two workers, sloped roof, adjacent to live power lines."
